Top up bus card & hafilat recharge — FAQ
Straight answers about timing, payments, fees, refunds, security and support for a hafilat recharge in Dubai.
How do I top up a bus card through this site?
Open the recharge page, enter your hafilat card number, choose an amount in AED, add your email and continue to the secure checkout to pay. There is no account to create.
How long does a hafilat recharge take to process?
Most top-ups are processed within minutes of a successful payment. A confirmation is emailed to you — keep it in case you need support.
Which payment methods are accepted?
The secure checkout accepts Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards.
Are there fees or limits?
Preset amounts are 20, 30, 50, 100 and 150 AED, and you can enter a custom amount. Any applicable service fee is shown on the checkout before you confirm.
What if the payment fails, or I am charged but the balance is not credited?
If a payment does not complete, no balance is loaded and you can try again. If you were charged but the balance is not showing, contact support with your order reference and we will check it.
Is it safe to enter my card details?
Card details are entered only on the encrypted checkout, never on this site. The connection is secured and card data is not stored on our pages.
Can I get a refund?
If a top-up was paid for but not delivered to your card, contact support with the order reference. How refunds are handled is described on the refund policy page.
How do I contact support?
Reach the Dubai-based team by email at support@hafilatrefill.org, by WhatsApp, or by phone at +971 54 116 8320.
Which transit cards are supported?
This service tops up the hafilat contactless card used for public transport in the United Arab Emirates.
Where can I use the card after a top-up?
Once the balance is loaded, you tap the card to travel on Dubai public transport as usual.
